How do I register as an asylum-seeker?
- Non-Somalis: Contact the UNHCR Sub Office in Aden. Call the registration hotline 771 070 364 for an appointment.
- Somalis: Visit the nearest IPNA registration centre in Basateen-Aden, Al Mukalla, or Kharaz Camp for assistance.
What if I was registered as a refugee in another country?
If you were previously registered as a refugee in another country:
- Bring your previous refugee/asylum certificates.
- Your asylum claim in Yemen will be processed again, taking into account your circumstances and reasons for moving.
