The funding crisis has severely impacted WFP, leading to a population-wide re-categorization planned for May 2025. As a result, WFP will reduce the number of refugees receiving humanitarian assistance, focusing on the most vulnerable. Refugees categorized as moderately or least vulnerable to food insecurity will be eligible to appeal.
