UNHCR\u2019s offices in Mae Sot and Mae Hong Son support the \u201ctemporary shelters\u201d for Myanmar refugees, which the Royal Thai Government manages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Thailand, UNHCR conducts protection and assistance activities for urban refugees and asylum-seekers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will UNHCR services cost me money?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fdf799\"><strong>All UNHCR services are free!<\/strong><br><strong>You should never pay for any UNHCR service or documents at any stage in the process.
