We save lives, protect rights and help build better futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Lithuania, UNHCR supports the national authorities in executing its duties in line with international and European standards. UNHCR is not part of the asylum procedure in Lithuania. The asylum procedure in Lithuania is under the responsibility of the Migration Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNHCR in Lithuania has a liaison office in Vilnius. UNHCR in Lithuania is part of UNHCR\u2019s Representation for the Nordic and Baltic Countries, which is based in Stockholm (Sweden).
