The prohibition to travel to Latvia from a high-risk country <strong>does not apply to asylum-seekers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Latvian residents, including refugees and asylum-seekers, can get vaccinated <strong>for free<\/strong> in Latvia against COVID-19. &nbsp;You can book a vaccination appointment by phone or obtain more information about vaccination against COVID-19 <strong>dialling ?<\/strong> <strong>8989<\/strong>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/manavakcina.lv\/\">book an appointment online<\/a> (this latter option is only available if you have Internet banking or eSignature in Latvia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Official information from the Latvian Government can be found on the official informative page about the spread of COVID-19 in Latvia (available in <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.gov.lv\/en\">English<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.gov.lv\">Latvian<\/a>) and on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vm.gov.lv\/lv\/aktualitates-par-covid-19\">website of the Latvian Ministry of Health<\/a> (available in Latvian, but you can use the automatic Google translator by choosing that option when you click with the right button)<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Latvian Red Cross provides <\/strong>safety information on COVID-19 to refugees and asylum-seekers<strong> in <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.lv\/en\/refugees-and-asylum-seekers-are-provided-with-safety-information-of-covid-19-in-latvia\/\">Arabic<\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.lv\/en\/refugees-and-asylum-seekers-are-provided-with-safety-information-of-covid-19-in-latvia\/\">Turkish<\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.lv\/en\/refugees-and-asylum-seekers-are-provided-with-safety-information-of-covid-19-in-latvia\/\">Dari<\/a><strong>, as well as in <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.lv\/en\/how-to-protect-yourself-from-covid-19\/\">English<\/a><strong>, and <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.lv\/ka-sevi-pasargat-no-covid-19\/\">Latvian<\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"_msocom_2\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of May 1 2022, Latvia has removed all COVID-19-related requirements for all travellers, even if they have not been previously tested, recovered from or vaccinated against COVID-19.
