It includes acts that inflict physical, mental, or sexual harm or suffering, threat of such acts, coercion, and other deprivations of liberty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are six core types of GBV include: rape, sexual assault, physical assault, forced marriage, denial of resources, opportunities or services, and psychological and emotional abuse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-5fbb9bff79b05fd09eb95f80503b0919\" style=\"background-color:#0072bc\">If you have experienced Gender-Based Violence, these are the services that can support you:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GBV response services include medical treatment (ideally within 72 hours of the incident), psychosocial support, physical security, safe shelter, and legal assistance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Security is provided to GBV survivors by the national police in collaboration with UNHCR and partners following a joint safety assessment, which may include admission into a safehouse within the camps or in urban areas for a limited period.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other social services extended to GBV survivors include community-based peer support, mentorship programmes, provision of dignity and menstrual hygiene management kits, and livelihoods support to mitigate against further violence.
