In line with the recommendations issued by the Government of Kenya, and for the protection of persons of concern to the Government of Kenya, UNHCR and their staff, from Monday 16 March 2020, and until further notice, the Government of Kenya through Refugee Affairs Secretariat (RAS) has temporarily suspended their services at the reception/ registration centers in urban areas, to avoid putting its persons of concern and staff at any risk of infection. RAS and UNHCR follow instructions of the Ministry of Health and World Health Organization (WHO) to take the necessary measures to protect its Persons of Concern.
