They work with people who have experienced sexual assault, rape or childhood sexual abuse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can contact the National 24-Hour Helpline at 1800 77 8888, at any time of day or night. They offer a free and confidential listening and support service for anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted, sexually harassed or sexually abused at any time in their lives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If English is not your first language, there is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drcc.ie\/services\/helpline\/interpreting-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Helpline Interpreting Service<\/a>, Mon-Fri, 8am-6:30pm, which provides live interpreting over the phone in more than 200 languages at the same number: 1800 77 8888.&nbsp;<\/li><li>It is also possible to email to <a href=\"mailto:counselling@rcc.ie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">counselling@rcc.ie <\/a>(note that e-mails can only be answered during office hours).&nbsp;<\/li><li>For those who are deaf or hard of hearing, there is a text service, operating Mon-Fri from 8am to 6:30pm, at 086-8238443 and&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;You can also chat online Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm (excluding Bank Holidays) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drcc.ie\/services\/helpline\/webchat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">using the webchat support service<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li><li>DRCC also take calls from anyone who wishes to talk about the effects of sexual violence.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Telephone counsellors are available to listen 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na (the Irish Police)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueblindfold.ie\/report-a-suspicion-about-human-trafficking\/\">https:\/\/www.blueblindfold.ie\/report-a-suspicion-about-human-trafficking\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are victim of<a href=\"https:\/\/help.unhcr.org\/ireland\/human-trafficking\/\"> trafficking<\/a>, or you have a suspicion that someone else is, you should contact an Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na, who are available to help.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an emergency please call 999 \/ 112.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also contact Garda\u00ed&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At your local Garda station&nbsp;<\/li><li>By telephone on 1800 666 111 daily from 9am to 9pm.
