While several states have pledged to make resettlement spaces available to Afghan refugees globally, they have not yet decided how these spaces will be shared among countries that are hosting Afghans. It is important to note that even when more Resettlement slots become available for Afghans in Iran, Resettlement will remain a solution that is only available to a very small proportion of refugees, whether in Iran or worldwide.
