Currently Iranian visa application process can be completed either back in Afghanistan or in the Kish Island, on a case-by-case basis. If you aim to start the process to obtain a student visa, please contact your closest UNHCR office to obtain more information about available assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAFI Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All Afghan children of school age are allowed to attend primary and secondary school and study the national curriculum regardless of their documentation status providing that they have a YEKTA code. Please find the 2024 announcement on school enrolment&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.unhcr.org\/iran\/en\/2024\/07\/25\/pre-registration-of-foreign-national-students-on-sahma-portal-is-extended-for-another-month\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, UNHCR, through its national NGO partner Farda Development Activist Association (FDA), provides the opportunity for refugee students to apply for the Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative Fund (DAFI) scholarship to support their tertiary education. The scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses for undergraduate studies.
