An application for asylum can be submitted in the territory of Iceland or at a port of entry before you can apply for asylum in Iceland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u27a1\ufe0f<\/font><\/strong><\/font>When entering the country,<\/strong> you can apply for asylum with a border guard at Keflav\u00edk Airport in Iceland. You can do that regardless of whether you have a valid visa, travel documents or Icelandic residence permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u27a1\ufe0f<\/font><\/strong><\/font>If you are in Reykjavik, you can apply for asylum at the reception centre for applicants for international protection<\/strong>, located in Egilsgata 3 in Reykjavik. It is open during daytime working hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u27a1\ufe0f<\/font><\/strong><\/font>If you are not in Reykjavik, you can apply for asylum at any Police station<\/strong>.
