Through this program, eligible refugees and migrants are considered for regular and safe admission pathways to the United States or other countries. In this way, they seek to avoid the risks faced by people in human mobility. Colombia, Costa Rica and Ecuador are also implementing it in the region. It is completely free of charge and supported by UNHCR, IOM and their partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply in Guatemala?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Safe Mobility (Movilidad Segura) program in Guatemala assists Guatemalan citizens, as well as refugees (with international protection needs) and eligible migrants of Salvadoran, Honduran and Nicaraguan nationality, who entered Guatemala before July 16, 2024,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"_msocom_1\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I register?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/movilidadsegura.org\/en\/guatemala\/\">Register online on the Safe Mobility website<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note the following when filling out the form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2714\ufe0f You must give truthful information, avoiding changing or hiding details, otherwise your process may be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2714\ufe0f If you are submitting a family application, only one person in the household should complete the form. The person in the group must add the other members in the same application, as long as they belong to the same nuclear family (parents, spouse and\/or children up to 20 years of age who do not have their own separate nuclear family).
