Whether you plan to remain in your host country, are considering returning to Syria, or have questions related to your rights and access to services, this page provides reliable, up-to-date information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-cb40bd79dca61cf2a92e04bdf299fbbc\" style=\"background-color:#0072bc\"><strong>Current situation in Greece<\/strong> <strong>for Syrians<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Syrians continue to be <strong>able to apply for asylum<\/strong> in Greece and to have their applications registered. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thus, they continue to be entitled to all the <strong>rights of asylum-seekers<\/strong> and cannot be forcefully returned to Syria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As in other European countries, the Greek government has <strong>suspended the decisions<\/strong> on the merits of asylum applications by Syrians or stateless who used to live in Syria.
