RSD&nbsp;in Ethiopia is conducted by the Government of Ethiopia under the Refugee Proclamation No. 1110\/2019. This law provides the legal and institutional framework for the government to take primary responsibility for determining refugee status in line with international, regional, and national standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">According to Ethiopian laws, you may undergo a different procedure depending on your nationality to determine if you are considered a refugee.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you are from:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sudan<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Somalia <\/strong>(Lascanood) and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yemen<\/strong> (those that arrived after 1 January 2015) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0f<strong>Group process: <\/strong>You can be immediately recognized as a refugee in Ethiopia and given a Refugee document if you apply for asylum. This is called prima facie recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you are of any other nationality:<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u27a1\ufe0f<strong>Individual processes:<\/strong> You will undergo the Refugee Status Determination (RSD) process, where the authorities will comprehensively assess your claims on an individual basis, as outlined in Refugees Proclamation No. 1110\/2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details has-black-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-4364ac05144c661f700b6ce22d7825d9 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"background-color:#99c7e4\"><summary>?
