Taking into consideration the specific position of members of the LGBTIQ+ community as hate crime targets, this handbook provides an overview of main aspects of hate crimes and how to recognize and report them. It also explains which rights belong to hate crime victims and the kinds of protection available in Croatia. The handbook is intended for persons who were targets or witnesses of hate crimes, as well as professionals, civil society organizations and other stakeholders who work or come in contact with victims of hate crimes.
