As a refugee or an asylum-seeker, you should:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with all Chinese laws and respect <a href=\"https:\/\/help.unhcr.org\/china\/asylum\/rights\/useful-information-on-chinese-culture-and-basic-chinese-phrases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">local traditions, customs, and culture<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register with the local police station as required by Chinese Exit and Entry Administration Law.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renew your UNHCR ID card on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep UNHCR updated on your contact information including phone number, email address and residential address in China.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide UNHCR with truthful and complete information. Committing any fraud while accessing UNHCR\u2019s services will have negative consequences on processing your case and\/or your eligibility for services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you violate any law or regulation in China, you will be held legally accountable according to relevant laws.
