COURSERA FOR REFUGEES: <\/strong>If you are an asylum seeker, a refugee, a beneficiary of temporary protection, or a stateless person, this opportunity is for you. Start your journey today: you can access the majority of the courses and training programs as well as certificates upon completion at no cost!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To register, click here<\/a> and complete the registration form. Within one week of registering, UNHCR will send you an individual invitation to join the program via email. Please do not share this invitation. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Once you receive the invitation email, click on the provided link. This will take you directly to the Coursera home page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To set up your account, click the “SIGN UP” button. You will be prompted to enter your full name, a valid email address, and a password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. To get started, enter the email address and password you used during your registration. Then, click the blue \u201cLOG IN\u201d button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be inside the Coursera for Refugee platform. From there, you can choose the course or courses you prefer. Click the “GO TO COURSE” button to start your learning journey.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Employment Platform<\/a>:<\/strong> A platform created by the Foundation for Access to Rights \u2013 FAR to connect migrants in Bulgaria with job opportunities and supportive employers. It aims to promote social inclusion and economic independence by offering free employment mediation services to migrants with the right to work, while helping businesses find qualified candidates through tailored support, multilingual outreach, and legal guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Caritas career centers <\/strong>in different cities, provide refugees with the necessary information and assistance in finding a job, career counseling, Bulgarian language courses, training for professional qualifications and upgrading work skills. In addition, they will have the opportunity to join the entrepreneurial program of “Caritas Sofia”, which provides them with opportunities for independent business development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Organization, support, and development of socially significant projects for Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria. Providing comprehensive assistance to the most vulnerable categories of Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria, including children, large families, the elderly, families with disabled children, and women with young children. A humanitarian center to support the most vulnerable groups of refugees: the elderly, disabled, and low-income individuals residing in Sveti Vlas, Sunny Beach, Elenite, Ravda, Aheloy and Nessebar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Providing employment counseling for refugees, including issues of taxation and establishing relationships with employers and contractors for work\/services. Regular job fairs for employees and employers are also organized.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
