The Federal University of Amapá opens vacancies for the Professional Master in Border Studies

The Federal University of Amapá will open 21 vacancies for the Professional Masters in Border Studies, where 1 of these vacancies will be exclusive to migrants, refugees, refuge applicants or stateless persons. Registration starts on August 14th and ends on August 31st.

The master’s degree lasts one year and to register you must access the site, fill out the online form and attach, in PDF format, the Pre-Research Project. In addition, migrant candidates, refugees, refuge applicants or stateless persons must attach, in PDF format, a document from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice able to demonstrate their status as migrants, refugees, refuge applicants or stateless persons.

The selection process consists of 4 (four) phases:

Phase 1: Research Pre-Project Evaluation, which must be attached at the time of registration.

Phase 2: Written test to be held on 09/09/2019.

Phase 3: Interview scheduled for 16/09/2019.

Phase 4: Curriculum Evaluation with academic titles, research activities and intellectual production of the last 5 (five) years (from 2015 to 2019).

In addition, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English or French, and may take the Foreign Language Proficiency Test designed and applied during the PPGEF Selection Process.
