Program of artistic residency in São Paulo has vacancies for refugees and asylum seekers

The Immigration Museum of São Paulo has opened vacancies for international migrants (immigrants, refugees and refugees) to participate in its artistic residency program.

For the 2019 edition, which will address the theme “welcome”, up to two artists will be selected to immerse themselves in the activities and routines of the institution, aiming the development of visual arts project (s) (including languages such as painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving , ceramics, digital production and installation). The work will be done in an open studio, set up in the premises of the Museum of Immigration.

Those approved have the right to a scholarship and enrollment goes through February 22.
