New rules for family reunion and extension of refugee status

On October 30, a new Conare Resolution, which deals with family reunions and the extension of refugee status to family members, was issued. In addition to spouse, partner, ascendants, descendants and other members of the family group who depend economically on the refugee, relatives by affinities may also be included in the family reunion and in the extension of the refugee status.

The new Resolution also brought new forms to be filled out. For more information: Family Reunion and Extension of Refugee Status.
