In Botswana, we assist the refugee population with their protection concerns through and in collaboration with partner organisations, such as:

Skillshare International Botswana (SKIB) is UNHCR’s partner organisation in Botswana that can help with:
- food distribution;
- child protection;
- GBV prevention and response;
- support in accessing healthcare services;
- rehabilitation and support of refugees with disabilities and other specific needs;
- hygiene campaigns;
- monetary and material support for education;
- counselling,
- sanitary materials;
- core relief items;
- livelihoods support including seed capital and business training; and
- assistance with obtaining birth documentation.
Skillshare International Botswana (SKIB) is in Dukwi refugee camp in Zone 5 and in Gaborone and you can contact them:

➡️Learn to Play
Learn to Play provides early childhood development services within the camp for children between
0-5 years.
Services offered:
- Deliver training to parents and carers of children on early childhood development, wellbeing, child protection, early learning, child health, maternal wellbeing and special educational needs

- In Dukwi: Their activities are located at the pre-school near the UNHCR building in the camp.
