Once sufficient language and general skills have been acquired, they should be oriented into the regular education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a parent, you must ensure that your child attends school. The reception centre where you are staying during the time of your international protection procedure can provide suitable support. There are reception centres where the staff organizes \u2018homework classes\u2019 to help your children with their school tasks. More information on education for children can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedasilinfo.be\/en\/theme\/school-children\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education for adults<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As an applicant of international protection, you can enroll for a Dutch or French language course with some institutions, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huisnederlandsbrussel.be\/\">Huis van het Nederlands<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfc.eu\/\">Enseignement Promotion et Formation Continue<\/a> (EPFC) and organizations involved in <a href=\"https:\/\/help.unhcr.org\/belgium\/where-to-seek-help\/integration\/\">Integration<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognized refugees are also allowed to study at universities and colleges and can sometimes benefit from scholarships.
