Belgium has opted for a multi-disciplinary approach as part of its efforts to combat human trafficking. In addition to suppressing the perpetrators, special attention is also given to victims. Specialized reception centers for human trafficking as well as a specific (legal stay) procedure has been put in place for victims of human trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The specialized reception centers for human trafficking in Belgium are PAG-ASA<\/strong><\/a> in Brussels, Payoke<\/strong><\/a> in Antwerp and S\u00fcrya<\/strong><\/a> in Li\u00e8ge. They are overseen by Myria<\/a><\/strong> (see more on General services page<\/a>).
